Here you can see the ways to get good scores for icons and mascots! NOTE FOR CONTRIBUTORS: PLEASE SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE JOURNAL! this includes our current contributors

originality how unique is your piece? does it have anything to do with our group? is it just a picture with contests in it? these would all contribute to how unique and ORIGINAL this piece is. to get good marks here are the GENERAL 3 main points to place in your icon or mascot:
design- special. not just an icon with the words contesters written on it, or a mascot waering t-shirt and jeans , UNLESS the t-shirt and jeans are specially designed. maybe a logo or something that shows us that it's not just some picture off the street.
/marked out of 10 possible pointsstyle of drawing-this one is less important but i thought i would put it out there anyways. is it just anime? or did you put shading? it's fine if it's anime, just switch it up a little. how about added something that you've never tried before. do cell shading if you've never tried or soft shading.
/marked out of 5 possible points effort- this does NOT mean drawing well. this means how good this drawing is compared to your other pictures. it's obvious when someone puts effort in and when someone just scratches it on a piece of paper. because of this it doesn't matter how good you are as long as you try.
/marked out of 10 possible points all in all there is a possibility of getting 25 points. GOOD LUCK!!!
